Quality Statement:
Bedinvetmab is A recombinant canine monoclonal antibody that binds to nerve growth factor (NGF), reduces NGF binding to tropomyosin receptor kinase A (TrkA) and p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) receptors, and reduces TrkA signaling in pain-related cell types. In vitro binding studies have shown that bedinvetmab binds to NGF with high affinity, but does not bind to other neuronutrients, including human neuronutrient-3 (NT-3), canine and human NT-4, and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).
